Saw Jane Upton’s ‘Bones’ at Tristan Bates theatre yesterday. A remarkable piece of writing for anyone, let alone someone who has not been writing for a lifetime. Going to a Playwrights’ Industry Day at the Brighton Dome tomorrow. David Edgar amongst other established writers will be there.
Went to the Hen and Chickens pub theatre yesterday, looking for venues to stage The Squeaky Clean (assuming none of the fringe companies contacted want to take it on.) In the heart of bustling north London, it is a good venue in a great place, and worth strong consideration.
After a long layoff of not writing, starting to get back into it. Though tinkering with old scripts currently, without considering anything new. Feel sure that will change soon.
