3 FOR THE PRICE OF 1 closed out last Saturday. A successful week, some very appreciative audiences, and a  cast as good as anything on the London fringe circuit. I feel very proud of the show.  A short break in Portugal, then back to start preparing for THE SQUEAKY CLEAN, Wimbledon Studio, 3rd to the 14th September. Cannot wait to start the ball rolling all over again. Producing is like running a marathon. You cannot wait to cross the finishing line,  but you cannot wait to run another one! Crazy!

Rehearsals for 3 FOR THE PRICE OF 1  is well under way, though sickness to Joe Doherty at the start of last week delayed things somewhat. Fortunately Joe is now okay and  he was able to rehearse on Thursday, as well as meet the new actors, Patric Howe and Samantha Ritchie, both players in  COUNTING THE DAYS. A read of the script and two shots at COUNTING… went really well. Always encouraging when the actors gel so quickly and transparently, and get on well with each other. Took great pleasure in the fact that after half an hour of rehearsals Erin, Samantha and Patric were chatting as if they had worked together for years. Great stuff. It’s those kind of moments that bring as much satisfaction as anything.

Barons Court tell me that bookings are not great, but hopefully with Easter now over things will improve dramatically. Genuinely believe I have pulled together as good a cast as any fringe venue in  London. Feel very proud of them all.
