The Royal Court Theatre have invited  me to join a writers’ group at the theatre, starting 1st August through to mid October.

I have no idea what will be involved. But I am sure the experience will be an interesting and creatively inspiring one. Feel chuffed to bits.

Wonderful that ‘Birth’ was nominated joint winner of the 2016 Lost Theatre One Act Festival.  My heartfelt thanks to Angie Lily for her outstanding performance, described by Paul Vale of The Stage, as ‘thoroughly  inhabiting the role’ of Cybil, a Vicar’s daughter who is raped and has the child of her attacker. And of course to Steve Pitt for Directing it so superbly.

imageTremendous performance by Angie Lily , as Cybil at the Lost Theatre One Act Festival on the 15th July in my short  play ‘Birth’ about a woman who is sexually assaulted and discovers she is pregnant by her attacker. Accolades galore bestowed on her by Paul Vale the adjudicator, who writes and reviews  for ‘The Stage’. Feel honoured that Angie wanted to perform in it, and was brave enough to do so. And thanks to Steve Pitt for Directing it. A standout night.
